A Simple way to say I Love you

I love to send boxes of cookies to my son who's off at college.
Sometimes I wish I could send him a hug.
This is as close as I could come:

His grandma and I wrote things we love about him
on the paper I wrapped the cookies in.

A simple way to say I love you.

This is Funny: Lost Hamster

These are in the window of my favorite place to have breakfast.
I love the "no brains on service".
But the new flyer they put up just made me laugh so I had to share it.
No Brains no Service.

Lost Hamster

If you can't read it it says.
Someone lose a hamster?

-Brown + White
-Likes tortilla chips
-Has issues with authority

Call now------

LOL some people have such a great since of humor.

Wedding Dresses Turned Into New Looks

I didn't get very good pictures but I think the idea is such a good one that I wanted to share it.

The idea was to take old wedding dresses and change them into usable clothing. It was fun to see what the women who did to recreate them.

The Ragfinery is a business place that is trying to get our community to reuse old clothing because so much of it ends up in landfills.

Fun and sexy

Ready for a party.

Fun for a spring day.

Awesome job.

So Sweet.

A great change.

Really cute.

Bellingham Procession of Species

I had a wonderful time watching this parade. It was so full of imagination and fun. I took some pictures so I could share them with you.

Beautiful frogs start it off.

A Friendly Wolf?

Nothing in Bellingham is ever done without a fish.

Sweet Peacocks

This wonderful owl was built over a shopping cart.

Two very serious penguins.

I wouldn't want to meet this group in a dark alley.

I love crows.

Look out Ladybug!

Stop bugging me! I mean it!

The parade ended with a beautiful rainbow.

I hope your day is full of rainbow!

The Met Gala by the New York Times

I used to be a designer in New York City in the 1980's

Donna Karan and Calvin Klein

I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology where my final project was graded by Donna Karan. She ended up picking my out fit for the final graduation fashion show.  It was quite the honor.

At my Graduation Calvin Klein was the speaker. This photo brought back many nice memories.

If you click on the photo or the link below you will see many of the red carpet dresses. I have often wondered if the top designers have a long standing bet that who ever can get a women to wear the  most ridiculous out fit wins. Let me know who you think wins.
