Tea With LaVera: Welcome to my Blog! I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City as a fashion designer. I worked in New York City for eight years in the fashion industry. After I had children, I moved from designing to working more with crafts and painting canvas. Today, my boys are in college and I am working, selling and exhibiting my work more than ever.
