A Walk in New York's Garment district

I used to design clothes in New York City. It was a great, fun and rewarding career. I often like to go back and wander the streets. The industry has slowly been dying in the United States; one more industry that has been sent overseas. The streets are much quieter now; No longer is the rush of supplies being loaded and unloaded and racks of clothing being pushed through them and through-out the streets. Though quieter, it is still an interesting part of New York with its many fabric and trim stores.

He seems worried, will he lose his job?

I'm in New York City right now. It is a great time to visit. Halloween excitement is in the air. I've been taking some pictures to share with you.
